The 43 Chick-fil-A restaurants in the greater Charlotte area are honoring educators on Teacher Appreciation Day on May 5. Educators who visit a greater Charlotte-area Chick-fil-A from 4 p.m. to the restaurant's close will receive free Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Strips (three-count) when they show their school identification.

The participating market area includes Charlotte, Concord, Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Shelby, Gastonia, Matthews, Lancaster, Monroe, Mooresville, Morganton, Huntersville, Salisbury, Statesville and Hickory.

"As the school year comes to a close, we want to honor those in the education system who tirelessly commit themselves to the teaching of our local students," said Shannon Holland, Chick-fil-A marketing director for the Charlotte area. "As a small token of our appreciation, we're thanking them for their efforts with free Chick-n-Strips!"

Offer only valid for educators who show valid school identification; limit one per person. Contact your local restaurant to verify participation.
