U.S. Congressional candidate Daniel Johnson plans a busy Labor Day weekend, traveling around the 10th district.
Johnson is running against Republican incumbent Patrick McHenry for the congressional seat in November's election.
Johnson's schedule:
- Friday, 6:30 p.m. at the Hickory American Legion Fair, 1127 Highway 70 West, Newton.
- Saturday, 10 a.m. interview on Hmong Radio (with translator) Hmong Press Radio, WCXN 1170 AM.
- Saturday, 1 p.m. Hickory American Legion Fair, 1127 Highway 70 West, Newton.
- Saturday, 7 p.m. Johnson throws first pitch at Crawdads baseball game at L.P. Frans Stadium, 2500 Clement Blvd NW, Hickory.
- Sunday, 1 p.m., Hickory American Legion Fair, 1127 Highway 70 West, Newton.
- Monday, 2:30 p.m. at the Hickory American Legion Fair, 1127 Highway 70 West, Newton
