Everybody say "WooHoo!"
That's right. It's Friday. The end of the week. Everybody say WOOHOO! I love that word. I use it when I am happy and when I am very frustrated.
I take a deep breath and let it go. Sometimes I even do a little happy dance to go with it. It is amazing how much better I feel after I shout, "WOOHOO!"
Some of my office mates even say "WOOHOO." It is almost as contagious as smiling at nothing, and everyone smiles too.
If you are reading this article, say "WOOHOO!" Check out the response. Pretty cool, huh?
Everybody needs a good belly laugh.
I am one of those people who can laugh until I cry. And it isn't legitimately funny stuff, it is goofy stuff.
For example, in the movie "Christmas Vacation," Clark Griswold gets hit in the face with the attic ladder. I know it hurts, but it kills me everytime.
I start out with the Betty Rubble laugh, then it develops into the giggles and explodes into belly laughter that hurts my belly and makes me cry.
I always feel better after a good belly laugh.
Wait, I need to Frederick this moment.
My favorite book is entitled "Frederick." I got it when I was a little girl from the Weekly Reader Book Club. It is about a little mouse who instead of foraging for food for the winter, he absorbed all the colors, smells and warmth of the sun. The other mice weren't happy that he wasn't gathering food, but when the cold, harsh winter was upon them, he shared all the colors, smells and warmth of the sun with them. Then winter wasn't so bad.
Sometimes when I stop to listen, or to smell a flower or watch a beautiful sunset, my husband will ask, "What are you doing?" and I will say I am "Fredericking" the moment.
Do you like to woohoo, belly laugh or "Frederick" the moment? I want to know.
