Hickory - The rain could be back this evening but chances are Oktoberfest in downtown Hickory will go on as scheduled.
Festival Director Tracy Nestor said all the vendors will remain at the street festival regardless of rain. Unless there's a downpour, expect music to go on, too.
Nestor said a little rain or overcast skies can't cloud the festival. That just means it won't be to hot to en-joy all Oktoberfest has to offer.
Weather forecasts are calling for sunny days Saturday and Sunday with highs of 75 degrees.
"I think the temperatures are going to be perfect," Nestor said.
