Need a phone-a-friend? Call a garbage brain.

I am one of those people cursed with a "garbage brain." You know, the brain that retains everything whether it will be needed or not. It's sort of like being an organized slob, but it is in my head instead of on my desk.
I guess I must have learned all this knowledge through osmosis. I always have been interested in just about everything. When I was in high school, I worked in the library. I loved reading all the Time-Life series books. My favorites were the 1930s and 1960s editions. As a result, I was always chosen to be on the team of the not-so-smart popular kids when we played the Current Events game during Western Civilization.
Don't get me wrong. I don't know everything. I just know a lot of useless stuff that may someday come in handy. You never know, I could be the phone-a-friend one of those not-so-smart popular kids call for the answer to the million dollar question on "Millionaire."
