HICKORY - The team of Dwight and Ann Hall set a blistering pace in the weekly Putt-Putt Tournament held at Hickory Putt-Putt on Sept. 4 setting a new course record with a 48.
The 48 total for 72 holes broke the previous record of 49 and is a six year low for best ball couples,
The Halls, two-time winners this year, aced eight straight holes on Course 1 enroute to the win.
Second place went to the team of Jim Havner and Ronnie McCanns with a 57 score after a three hole playoff with Ian and Randy Ledford.
Open tournaments will continue through October every Thursday with everyone welcome to enter.
