Unclaimed Hickory Powerball ticket worth $50,000

An unclaimed Powerball ticket purchased at Wilco on Springs Road NE in Hickory is worth $50,000, according to a release from the NC Education Lottery.
The ticket matched four of five white balls plus the Powerball in the April 25 drawing.
Another unclaimed ticket, which matched four of five white balls in the April 25 drawing, was purchased at Kangaroo Express on Blowing Rock Road in Boone. Because it was not 'Power Played' it is worth $10,000.
