Robbers hit Jordan's Hot Spot three times

Kannapolis Police are investigating a series of robberies at Jordan's Hot Spot, 2500 South Main St., all of which have occurred over the past two weeks.
The first incident occurred on Dec. 29 around 1:30 a.m., when a white male walked inside the Hot Spot and demanded money, according to Kannapolis Police Chief James "Woody" Chavis.
The cashier gave the suspect the money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect was gone before police arrived.
Chavis described the suspect as a white male approximately 20, 5 foot 10 inches tall, and weighing about 160 pounds. He wore a zippered hooded sweatshirt with white designs on the front and blue jeans.
Officer responded again to Jordon's Hot Spot on Dec.. 31 at 1:30 a.m. to investigate an armed robbery.
Three young black males walked into the Hot Spot.
While one suspect showed a gun, the other two demanded the cashier open the register. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money and miscellaneous merchandise. They all wore hooded sweatshirts that covered their faces.
One suspect wore a blue hooded sweatshirt with a zipper and blue jeans.
The second one wore a white hooded sweatshirt that was a pullover and blue jeans.
The third suspect also wore a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, according to the release.
The third incident occurred on Jan. 6 around 4:25 a.m. Kannapolis officers responded to Jordan's Hot Spot and learned that a white male wearing a blue hooded raincoat, armed with an edged weapon, walked into the store and demanded money.
He left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect in this incident is described as a white male in his early twenties.
