The Catawba County Republican Party will hold its first Reagan Day Picnic on Saturday, June 27, from 3 to 8:30 p.m. The picnic will be held rain or shine at the Old Newton-Conover Junior High School in Newton (corner of S. Ashe Avenue and W. 7th Street.).
The picnic is free, and everyone is welcome.
The event will feature a visit from North Carolina's senior U.S. senator, Richard Burr, as well as other local and state elected officials.
There will be live music, inflatables for children, a classic car show, a dunking booth with elected officials, door prizes, a silent auction and a bake sale.
