RALEIGH - A North Carolina man whose family was slain last week could face drug charges after investigators said he may have been trafficking drugs through his home.

State Bureau of Investigation officials said Wednesday that Brian Tzeo knew the murder suspect, Chiew Chan Saevang. Arrest warrants against Saevang included trafficking opium. Tzeo could face similar charges.

Tzeo's wife, Lisa Saephan, and the couple's three children were found dead last Thursday in their home near Conover, about 40 miles northwest of Charlotte.

Officials said Saevang killed himself and his girlfriend after a high-speed chase in Utah late Tuesday.

Funeral services for Saephan and the children —20-year-old Melanie, 18-year-old Pauline and 4-year-old Cody — are scheduled for Wednesday at a funeral home in nearby Newton.
