Sherrills Ford getting first vet hospital

Construction has begun on the first animal hospital in Sherrills Ford -- Veterinary Specialties at the Lake.
Owned by Dr. Jane Barber, the business will be at 1675 Mollys Backbone Road on the west side of Lake Norman. Groundbreaking ceremonies were held Thursday.
