Local ABC affiliates may pull programming from Time Warner Cable broadcasts in Charlotte and surrounding area if the companies cannot reach an agreement by April 1 when the current agreement with WSOC-TV and WAXN-TV expires.

If Time Warner does not renew terms with the local affiliates, its Charlotte area customers will no longer receive ABC news, entertainment and sports programming, WSOC's local news and ABC shows including Oprah, Dr. Phil, Grey's Anatomy or Dancing With the Stars, according to WSOC-TV.

"We have exhausted all avenues with Time Warner," WSOC-TV and WAXN-TV General Manager Joe Pomilla said in a statement released today by WSOC-TV.

Time Warner has rejected several proposals from WSOC-TV and WAXN-TV, according to the ABC affiliate.
