HICKORY - 1. Hair spray, followed by a wash with soap and water, can take care of sap on skin, cars and windows.
2. Try spraying sticky skin, metal or glass with Pam or another nonstick cooking spray before washing.
3. WD-40 is famous for removing gunk from a number of surfaces.
4. Hand sanitizer or rubbing alcohol works miracles on sticky skin. Make sure to take some with you to the tree lot.
5. If you get the gunk in your hair, try rubbing an ice cube over it until the sap forms a ball and you can pull it off. This method works best with short hair.
