1. A Jazzy Taste: Treat your tongue to a wine and chocolate tasting while you treat your ears to the sultry jazz sounds of True Blend.

2. Roadrunnerz show: These guys have your favorite tunes covered. The band does country, pop and classic and modern rock. And they look like they're having as much fun as you will.
Location: Wayneo's Silver Bullet, 5172 N.C. 127 South at Propst Crossroads
Cost: $7 for members and $10 for guests
Time/Day: 9:30 p.m. Saturday

FOR FAMILIES:
Park it. Riverbend celebrates 10 years with a paddle trip, guided hikes, moth viewing, salamander hunting, fireside s'mores and more

Cost: Free
Time/Day: 9 a.m. to approximately 9 p.m. Saturday

2. "Bunnicula" on stage: It's cute. It's cuddly. It's the tiniest bit creepy. This play, narrated by the family pets, is about a vampire bunny with a taste for vegetable juice.
Location: Hickory Community Theatre, 30 Third St., NW
Cost: $16 for adults; $14 for seniors and $7 for youths
Time/Day: 7:30 p.m. Fridays and 2:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Nov. 1.

3. Quilts of the Valley: As they sew, we also reap. Check out more than 100 quilts on display.
