Newton - The Green Room Community Theatre has the cast in place for its upcoming mystery, "The Mousetrap," by Agatha Christie. This classic mystery takes place in an English manor where a group of strangers find themselves trapped in a snowstorm and soon discover there is a murderer among them.
Cast members include Chris Kerley, Daniel Bruer, Benny Smith, Michael woody, Carmen O'Neil, Elizabeth Murphy, David Townsend and Donna Dell.
"The Mousetrap" holds the distinction of being the world's longest running play. It is still in production in London, where it has been performed for more than 56 years. See if you can solve the mystery before the play is over.
The Mousetrap is the second play for The Green Room's 2009-2010 Season and is directed by Jonathan Ray.
Performances are at 8 p.m. Nov. 6, 7, 13, and 14 at 8pm and at 3 p.m. Nov. 8 and 15. The box office for "The Mousetrap" opens on Oct. 30 to the general public. Box-office hours are Wednesday through Friday from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. throughout the run of the production.
Ticket prices are $12 for adults, $10 for students and senior citizens and $8 for children 12 and under.
