Bunker Hill High School students and faculty described senior Pauline Chao as someone who was kind and open-minded, who would help others when they needed it.
Chao, 18, was killed Thursday morning with her mother, 3-and-a-half-year-old brother and her 20-year-old sister at their home on Gristmill Drive.
Many students and faculty are wearing purple shirts or ribbons at Bunker Hill High School today in honor of Chao, because it was her favorite color. Posters are lining the hallways at the school, saying "RIP gorgeous," and "Gone but not forgotten, we love you Pauline."
Read Saturday's edition of the Hickory Daily Record for more information on the how Bunker Hill High is remembering Chao, and what law enforcement is doing to find her killer.
