NEWTON
Hundreds turned out to pay their respects at a visitation held at Jenkins Funeral Home in Newton for the four family members murdered in their home on the morning of March 12.

Lisa Phan, 40, and her children, Melanie Saephan, 20, Pauline Chao, 18, and Cody Tzeo, 4, were arranged in the front of the sanctuary and lay in their open caskets as mourners passed by.

Cody was dressed in a bright blue sweatshirt with its hood pulled up and framing his face.

A Buddhist monk prayed and chanted over the bodies.

Brian Tzeo, Saephan's husband and the children's father, sat quietly near the front of the sanctuary and hugged family and friends who came by to lend their support.
