Cities of Claremont, Conover, Long View and Maiden: City offices will be closed Monday, trash and recycling pickup will continue as usual.
City of Newton: City offices will be closed Monday. Sanitation is on its regular schedule. If you have a utility emergency, call the police department at 465-7430.
Catawba County Library branches: Closed Monday.
City of Hickory: City offices will be closed Monday. The Hickory Parks and Recreation administration office at the Highland Recreation Center and skate park at Stanford park; Neill W. Clark Jr. Main Recreation Center; Westmont Senior Center; and the Ridgeview Recreation Center will be closed Monday. The Westmont Gymnasium, Brown-Penn Center and the Neill W. Clark Jr. Gymnasium will be closed on Saturday. All city parks will be open throughout the weekend and on Memorial Day. Sanitation services will continue on its regular schedule.
Town of Granite Falls: The town office and Public Works Department will be closed Monday. The police and fire departments and the water and wastewater treatment plants will be on duty as scheduled.
Patrick Beaver Memorial and Ridgeview Branch libraries: Closed Monday.
Catawba County offices: Closed Monday. Riverbend Park, Bakers Mountain and St. Stephens Park will be open.
Catawba County, Hickory Public, Newton-Conover City, Alexander County and Burke County schools: closed Monday.
Caldwell County Schools: School is in session Monday as a make-up day.
Catawba Valley Community College: Campuses will be closed Monday.
Lenoir-Rhyne University: Offices are closed Monday.
