Will Bigger's statement

Ex-campaign manager's comments about Fischer

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Here is the complete statement of Will Bigger, former campaign manager for Anne Fischer, upon his resignation on March 2.

I have resigned, of my own volition, as campaign manager to Anne Fischer for Congress.

Democrat Anne Fischer is again running for the US Congress to represent the 10th District. She cites experience as a civic leader in this campaign. She also cites her integrity, (as a chaplain in the Unity Church) and she vows to bring results to the district.

I first met Anne in 2004 when I helped her on her failed race for Congress then. Late last summer, I agreed to sign-on and help Anne is the 2010 campaign. Over the course of this campaign, since September of 2009, I have come to know Anne more and more.

I will never forget the authorities who pounded on her door because she had not paid her mortgage in 2004. She was in foreclosure and in reality, she was kicked out.

So she is running again. If the announcement speech sounded good, you can thank her staff for that.

Now, Anne cites her Ivy League education and her master's degree in this campaign. However, Anne cannot secure a job and she admittedly is in debt. How many people in the 10th District of North Carolina would love to have these bona fides to get a good paying, decent job?

In addition to her pro-abortion work, Anne has a few clients on which she performs "One-Brain/Three-In-One Concept" work. During these sessions, she "speaks" to the bodies of her clients and diagnoses their physical issues. Having been subject to this, I know that Anne can diagnose your common cold as being some emotional issue that your great-great paternal grandfather had. "Speaking to the body" is her small business. She then works to diffuse this issue. She has even claimed that cancer can be "diffused" because it all has to do with emotional frustrations that are locked within the body and DNA from generations back.

Anne says she supports universal health care, but she has said that the root of all medical issues are emotional and that they must be diffused. No Congress or Party in their right mind would support a plan that relied on this "solution." When I worked with Anne, I had to sneak blood pressure pills because I knew she would want to do a "session" if she deemed I had high blood pressure.

Anne Fischer has committed herself to the cause of women's rights. For Anne, this has meant starting a nonprofit organization that helps young women get abortions. This organization is known as the South Mountain Women Health Alliance. She had a conference to attend in Boston on March 5 — 7, hosted by the Eastern Massachusetts Abortion Fund. Instead of her going, I volunteered because I know this is the last issue that needs to be addressed in this race — especially for the people of the 10th District of North Carolina. I can report to you now that I will most certainly not be there.

Anne is rarely on time to anything. I am certain party leaders and friends alike will concur. Anne has said that she believes that 'the time she gets there is the time she is supposed to be there.' A United States Member of Congress cannot represent the people by getting there whenever they get there. This is unnerving.

Anne has a way of pushing her "values" on you. I am a Christian; an Anglican. While I care deeply about ALL people, I do not push. Anne makes statements in the faces of all religions, completely inconsiderate of their beliefs. She has told me that Jesus was not divine. I personally don't care what she thinks about that, but that is her opinion, not a statement. She says that the story of creation is "bull.... and sexist" and that the extraterrestrials created the earth. This is her opinion, but it should be stated as such and not pushed on people.

This brings us to the major reason as to why Anne Fischer is unfit to serve. She will not listen. She will not represent. She intends on bringing a higher level of conciousness to the 10th District.

She does not live up to the integrity of her agreements and always places the finger of blame toward someone else. Has she listened to me? No. Has she lived up to the integrity of our agreements? No. Has she been mean-spirited and stubborn? Yes.

Due to her unwillingness to listen to viable campaign advice, she will say anything and do anything to discredit me. May peace be with her — and Lord, I just hope she can be on time for a few events.

I don't regret knowing Anne at all. She has taught me some wonderful lessons about people. I have truly been honored to meet the great people of the 10th District.

I remain a Democrat, having run for office myself and I will continue to work for this great party and for people who represent the values of our party.

For the sake of the 10th District of North Carolina, I hope that one day a Democrat will be elected to serve the true values of the district. I hope the 10th District gets all the best from whomever represents them in Congress.

Anne's not it, folks.

Sincerely,

Will Bigger
