Thank you for your interest in announcing your special occasion in the Hickory Daily Record. Click on the links above to print out the celebration forms you will need to prepare your announcement. The forms also offer a sample of the various sizes of announcements available to you.
You can type the announcement using the forms as a guideline. You can mail the forms back with your picture and payment or you can fax them back to(828)324-8179 and bring in the photo.
Please return the forms along with your photo and make payment by no later than 4:30 p.m. the Friday three weeks prior to the preferred Sunday date you wish the announcement to appear in the newspaper. Announcements are published in the Lifestyle section on Sundays. Your print date will be determined by the date these items are received.
If you desire to purchase additional copies of the newspaper containing the announcement, which must be picked up at our office, please add $3.50 to your order for 5 copies or $14.00 for 20 copies. You can also call (828)322-4510 between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to make payment over the phone, or you can mail a check along with your forms to:

A date for your announcement cannot be assigned until we receive your picture, write-up and payment.
Please supply an email address to which a proof may be sent for your final approval before printing. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
If you'd like your picture mailed back to you, please supply a self-addressed stamped envelope. Otherwise please come by to pick it up.
