Fred T. Foard swept Bunker Hill in three straight sets in a non-conference girls volleyball on Wednesday at Bunker Hill.
The Tigers won by scores of 25-20, 25-10 and 25-9.
Maddison Hayes recorded three kills for Foard, while Rebecca Scott had three assists and Kaitlin Sigmon added 15 digs.
Margaret Connor led Bunker Hill with nine kills.
St. Stephens 3, Lake Norman 0
The Indians defeated Lake Norman in a non-conference match by scores of 25-19, 25-23 and 25-16.
Taylor Cummins led the Indians with 28 digs and four aces. Jenna Bolick added eight kills, Abby Foster recorded nine assists and Nicole Hardy had 15 digs.

Davie County doubled the Cougars goals on Wednesday at Alexander Central in a non-league boys soccer match.
Ben Jones scored the lone goal for Alexander Central off an assist from Desmond Lackey.
North Lincoln4, Bandys 2
The Knights outscored the Trojans in a non-conference match at North Lincoln.
Ryan O’Roarke scored twice for North Lincoln (2-0), while Clayton Gannoway and Billy Seymour added a goal apiece.
Mario Ramirez scored both goals for Bandys, now 0-1.
East Burke 1, Chase 0
Dax Chapman scored the games only goal for the Cavaliers as they defeated the Trojans at Chase High.
Chapman scored the game-winner off an assist from John Orders.
Nic Clark was in goal to earn the shutout with 10 saves.
BASEBALL
Crawdads 3, RiverDogs 2
The Hickory Crawdads won their third straight game, 3-2, for the series win against the Charleston RiverDogs on Wednesday night in Charleston, S.C.
Hickory (69-51, 29-23) jumped in front early with two runs in the top of the first against. With Odubel Herrera at first base and two outs, Alejandro Selen extended his hitting streak to 11 straight games with an RBI triple that brought in Herrera for a 1-0 lead. Selen scored when Tomas Telis ripped an RBI single to put Hickory in front 2-0.
Will Lamb made his Crawdads debut scattering only two hits and three walks, while striking out four in the no-decision.
Hickory extended the lead to multiple runs in the top of the seventh when Josh Richmond belted a solo home run for a 3-1 lead.
The RiverDogs pulled within one run of tying it on a two-out RBI double in the bottom of the seventh by Jose Toussen.
Jose Monegro picked up his first win for the Crawdads.

Bandy tied for third after first round of TYGA Tournament of Champions
Hayden Bandy of Conover is tied for third after the opening round of the TYGA Tournament of Champions at the Pine Brook Country Club in Winston-Salem.
Bandy shot a first round 74 to tie with Caleb Keck of Reidsville and Andrew Carowan of Lewisville.
They trail Spencer Cosgrove of Wilmington, who leads after an opening round 71.
Brady Childers of Granite Falls is 10th in the 12-13 year old division after shooting an 89.
AUTO RACING
Twin 50-lap Late Model action on tap at HMS Saturday
Race fans will have the chance to see Twin 50-lap features for the Late Models this Saturday at Hickory Motor Speedway.
The event will feature the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series with the Limited Late Models, Street Stocks, 4-Cylinders and Renegades also making appearances.
Grandstands will open at 5 p.m. with qualifying immediately following. An on-track autograph session will be held at 6 p.m. with green flag racing starting at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for teens and seniors and free for kids 12 and under.
