Catawba Valley Community College will play a basketball doubleheader on Tuesday night against Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute.
The women’s game tips off at 7 p.m. at CCC&TI, with the men’s game to follow.
The women’s teams will meet for the first time this season and play again on Friday at 5 p.m. at CVCC.
The men’s teams are playing for the second time this season.
LRU men have home game on Tuesday night
The Lenoir-Rhyne University men have a home game against St. Andrews on Tuesday night at Shuford Gym.
The Bears play at 7 p.m. before taking a holiday break until Dec. 16.

Crawdads have several offers for the holidays
The Hickory Crawdads are offering half-off the registration fee for the Claw Club with the donation of a homemade Christmas card for the children at Levine Children’s Hospital through Dec. 15.
All Christmas cards should be submitted with a 2012 Levine Children’s Hospital Claw registration form to the Crawdads’ front office at L.P. Frans Stadium or mailed to PO Box 1268, Hickory, 28603.
The hospital has asked that the cards contain holiday or inspirational quotes and sign the card only with a first name.
The half-off registration cost is $19 and includes a free ticket to all 70 home Crawdads game in 2012, access to exclusive events and opportunities to meet the team.
